ASTORIA — Police arrested a homeless man who allegedly followed an elderly woman into her apartment building Sunday morning and put his hand on her leg, according to the NYPD.

Basilios Limberis, 37, trailed the 76-year-old victim into the lobby of her building near 44th Street and 25th Avenue at about 8:40 a.m. and touched her, police said.

He ran out of the building after the woman yelled at him to stop, police said.

Limberis was arrested two days later, on Tuesday, and charged with attempted forcible touching and criminal trespass in the third degree, according to authorities.

His attorney did not immediately return a message seeking comment.
