PROSPECT-LEFFERTS GARDENS — A large fire seared a commercial building in Prospect-Lefferts Gardens for more than four hours Sunday night into Monday morning, officials said.

The flames erupted on the first floor of 640 Parkside Ave., near Rogers Avenue, about 11:47 p.m., an FDNY spokesman said.

About 200 firefighters brought the blaze under control about 4 a.m., the spokesman said.

One firefighter was treated for minor injuries at Kings County Hospital, officials said.

Fire marshals will determine what sparked the blaze, officials said.
