CONCOURSE — Hot soup and cold egg creams will now be available at Yankee Stadium this baseball season, the New York Yankees organization announced Thursday.

The Yankee Stadium outpost of the Hale and Hearty franchise will join the roster of food vendors for the 2016 MLB season, offering a rotating menu of seasonal soups that include chicken noodle and sweet corn chowder, the team said in a statement.

Linda’s Egg Creams, a throwback to a pop-up soda shop based in Brooklyn, will also offer the classic New York diner drink made with seltzer, syrup and milk.

Classic food stands will also add new menu items such as the Barnyard Wedding — a beef, fried chicken and potato hash sandwich — and the Jumbo Souvenir Ice Cream Sundae Helmets served in miniature Yankees helmets.

The Yankees announcement comes just one day after Citi Field unveiled its new culinary lineup.

The eclectic menu of soups, sandwiches, egg creams and sundaes will be available on April 4, when the Yankees take on the Houston Astros.
