MIDTOWN — A pair of bargoers asked a hotel guest from Dubai if he wanted to party — then ran off with his cash and credit cards and racked up nearly $38,000 in unauthorized charges after he invited them up to his room, police said.

The 50-year-old victim was staying at the New York Hilton Midtown at 1335 Sixth Ave. when he met the two women at the hotel bar around 3 a.m. on March 13, the NYPD said.

After the suspects asked him if he “wanted to party,” the guest took them up to his hotel room, police said.

The man went to use the bathroom in his room, but when he came out he discovered his guests had left, police said.

When he woke up the next day, he realized that $1,000 in cash, a debit card and three credit cards were missing from his wallet, the NYPD said.

Soon after, he discovered that $10,490 had been charged to his Emirates NBD Visa card, $18,528 to his Emirates NBD debit card, $8,000 to his Standard Chartered Visa card and $650 to his HSBC MasterCard, the NYPD said.

A New York Hilton Midtown representative did not immediately respond to request for comment on Thursday.
