PROSPECT-LEFFERTS GARDENS — Police are looking for some serious tress-passers in the neighborhood this week.

Fifty-five package of “Virgin Hair” hair extension worth $8,440 were stolen from HVM Hair Studio on March 2, police said, taken from inside the shop overnight.

An employee of the store at 1154 Nostrand Ave. discovered the theft the next day around 12 p.m. as she came into the store on March 3 and noticed the packages missing, she told police.

Investigators said the burglary alarm had gone off at 10:41 p.m. the night before, but there were no signs of forced entry.

► A 25-year-old woman was arrested for attempting to steal more than $550 of merchandise from a CVS store at 1249 Nostrand Ave. around 5 p.m. on March 2, police said. When a security officer in the store tried to stop her, she resisted, kicking, punching and spitting at him. Upon her arrest, police officers discovered she had an open warrant and found her in possession of two glass tubes containing residue of crack cocaine.

► A 56-year-old woman was beaten and robbed of her cell phone by an unknown female assailant on Nostrand Avenue, police said. The woman was walking on the avenue near Sterling Street just before midnight on March 5 when the female suspect came up to her, kicked and punched her and snatched her Samsung Galaxy cell phone. The suspect fled on foot; the victim was treated at Kings County Hospital for minor injuries.

► Two men ages 30 and 39 were arrested on March 2 for carrying an illegal loaded firearm, marijuana and a controlled substance in an apartment at 610 Flatbush Ave., police said.

► A 45-year-old man was arrested for trying to pay for a cab ride with a fake $100 bill, then refusing to pay by a different method, police said. The man handed over the counterfeit bill to a 37-year-old cab driver as he dropped him off at the corner of Eastern Parkway and Kingston Avenue around 2:35 p.m. on March 4, the driver told police. When the cabbie refused the bill, the man refused to pay the fare and police arrested him at the location soon afterwards.
