All Weekend

Art Dealers Association of America Art Show

Where: The Park Avenue Armory, East 67th Street at Park Avenue, Upper East Side
When: Friday, noon to 8 p.m., Saturday, noon to 7 p.m. and Sunday, noon to 5 p.m.

Peruse hundreds of works of art from the late 19th century to current works from around the world, and listen to curated presentations by the nation’s leading fine art dealers. Tickets are $25 per day and will benefit the Henry Street Settlement.

Clio Art Fair

Where: 508 W. 26th St., Chelsea
When: Friday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.

The Clio Art Fair prides itself on being the “anti-fair for independent artists.” The multi-day event, which will feature works from dozens of artists, will hold free public viewings Friday through Sunday.

Cabaret de Magie Nouvelle

Where: French Institute Alliance Française, 55 E. 59th St., Upper East Side
When: Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m.

Be entertained as performers from Paris’ Compagnie 14:20 merge circus tricks, shadow puppetry and magic tricks into a theatrical performance. The event is part of FIAF’s Tilt Kids Festival.

Friday, March 4

Women in the Heights — Transitions

Where: 898 St. Nicholas Ave. and West 155th Street, 9th floor, Washington Heights
When: 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Celebrate Women’s History Month with the Northern Manhattan Arts Alliance (NoMAA), Broadway Housing Communities and The Sugar Hill Children’s Museum of Art & Storytelling. The exhibition, curated by visual artist Andrea Arroyo, features the work of 30 Uptown Manhattan women artists. The event is free and open to the public. EXODUS: Paintings & Sculpture by Maria Lago

Where: Hebrew Tabernacle, 551 Ft. Washington Ave., Washington Heights
When: 8:45 p.m.

The Exodus series of paintings, by artist Maria Lago, focuses on a displaced and anonymous group as they move through landscapes that seem to be moving and changing with their journey. The work implies that the “collective immigrant and migratory experience leads to a better place.” Lago has an art gallery in Beacon, NY, and has held art exhibitions like Exodus since 1987.

Cooking Matters at the Store Day!

Where: C-Town Supermarket, 4918 Broadway and 207th Street, Inwood
When: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Uptown residents are invited to take a self-guided tour of the store, shop and receive free samples to take home. Shoppers will also learn tips and tricks to stretch their shopping budget. Afterwards, attendees are invited to take a survey for a free cookbook, reusable grocery bag and $10 voucher for fresh produce (while supplies last). City Harvest’s Healthy Retail also works with C-Town to improve the supermarket’s produce section.

“Frozen” screening and Magic Show

Where: The United Palace, 4140 Broadway at 175th Street, Washington Heights
When: 4 p.m.

The United Palace of Cultural Arts is proud to present its first movie of the year — a family favorite — "Frozen." Prior to the movie, the theater will feature a magic show for kids courtesy of Princess Cassy Parties. The screening is free, doors open at 4:30 p.m., but the magic begins 5 p.m., followed by the movie at 5:30 p.m.

Monk in Motion: Veronica Swift

Where: Borough of Manhattan Community College, 199 Chambers St., TriBeCa
When: 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm

Twenty-one-year-old jazz singer Veronica Swift, the winner of the Thelonius Monk International Jazz Competition, shows off her versatility with a variety of jazz styles at this showcase. Tickets are $25.

Naked Drawing: Austria Night

Where: 5000 Broadway, Apt. A, Inwood
When: 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Join the folks at Scribble Art Workshop for another night of drawing with a nude model. Get inspiration from several Austrian artists, such as Egon Schiele, Gustav Klimt and contemporary Xenia Hausner. Wine, snacks and materials will be provided with the admission fee of $30 for one person, $25 for groups of 2 or more.

Sunday, March 6

The Art of the Burqa

Where: Pen + Brush Gallery, 29 E. 22nd St., Flatiron
When: 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

This symposium includes a mix of visual art, written work and discussion all about the experiences of women who wear burqas. While conversations around the burqa often leave women’s voices out, this show puts them front and center.

Broadway Sings

Where: P.S. 166, Richard Rogers School, 132 W. 89th St., Upper West Side
When: 6 p.m., doors at 5:30 p.m.

Fourteen performers from Broadway’s hit shows will perform in this annual event to benefit P.S. 166. Guests include singers from “The King and I” and “An American in Paris.” Tickets are $30 for adults, $15 for children and $75 for premium seating.
