New York City ain't afraid of no ghosts.

The first trailer for director Paul Feig's all-female "Ghostbusters" reboot debuted Thursday morning, and the Big Apple features so prominently it may as well be the fifth member of the team.

Among the sites making an appearance in the teaser video is TriBeCa's Ladder 8 firehouse, used as the headquarters for the ghoul-hunting troupe in the original 1984 comedy.

Other locations include Times Square, which serves as the arena for what appears to be a major paranormal showdown, and Washington Square Park, which the film's paranormal investigators careen past in the Ecto-1.

Scenes ostensibly set in New York's Chinatown were actually filmed in Boston, including establishing shots of an eatery called Zhu's Authentic Hong Kong Restaurant.

In fact, Feig shot most of the movie around Beantown but wrapped up filming in TriBeCa in September

"Ghostbusters," starring Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones, is scheduled for release on July 15.
