SOUTH JAMAICA — Five people were injured Tuesday afternoon when a school bus and two vans collided at the intersection of Guy R Brewer and Foch boulevards, fire officials said.

Two of the victims were children, according to an NYPD source. None of the injuries appeared to be serious, the source said.

An FDNY spokesman said four people were taken to the Queens Hospital Center for treatment shortly after 3 p.m.

A fifth victim was treated at the site of the accident, according to the FDNY.

The school bus and one van were towed from the scene, according to the police source, while one van was able to drive away. Two witnesses who saw the collision's aftermath said the three vehicles were gone by about 4:30 p.m.

The cause of the accident is under investigation, according to a police source.
