GARMENT DISTRICT — A naked prostitute was found dead Monday in a vacant office after a drug-fueled weekend of sex with a building maintenance worker, sources said.

The 25-year-old woman, who sources said goes by Cherry, died Sunday while the two were sleeping in Suite 702 in 224 W. 35th St., between Seventh and Eighth avenues, sources said.

The worker, whose name and age were not immediately released, awoke to find her unconscious and unresponsive, bleeding from her nose, sources said.

He left her there and someone found her naked body beside a pile of her clothes and white powder on her hand at noon Monday, sources said.

She was pronounced dead at the scene, NYPD officials said. The Medical Examiner will determine her cause of death, police said.

Investigators believe she may have died of a drug overdose, sources said.

Investigators have questioned the worker, but they hadn't arrested him as of Tuesday morning, sources said.

They hope to continue questioning him, sources said.

Cherry, who has a history of prostitution, has known the worker for years, he told investigators.
