'Big Ang,' Reality Star and Local Bar Owner, Dies of Cancer

STATEN ISLAND — Angela "Big Ang" Raiola, star of VH1's "Mob Wives" and a former owner of the shuttered Drunken Monkey bar, died of cancer Thursday morning, relatives said in a statement posted on Twitter.

Condolences had already started pouring onto her social media profiles Thursday morning.

Raiola was a part owner of the Drunken Monkey bar until it closed in March 2015.
