A, C, E Service Resumes at Canal Street After Service Disruptions: MTA

MANHATTAN — Service resumed at the Canal Street station on the A, C and E lines after reports of a person struck by a train at the station Wednesday evening, according to the MTA.

Northbound A and C trains were skipping Canal and some northbound C trains were running express from Chambers Street to 59th Street, the MTA reported at 5:14 p.m.

First responders searched the tracks, but did not find anyone struck, an MTA spokesman said. 

Service resumed at the station by 5:40 p.m. with residual delays.
