FLATBUSH — An attacker hurling racial slurs beat a man exiting a subway station, saying "you don't belong here" before hitting the victim in the face, police said.

The assault is being investigated as a hate crime, the NYPD said.

The 44-year-old victim was leaving the Church Avenue station shortly after 9 p.m. on Friday when he was approached from behind and struck in the face by the unknown assailant, the NYPD said.

“Cracka, you don’t belong here,” said the suspect, who also referred to the victim and his fiancé as "white cracka ass," according to police.

The man fell to the ground, after which the suspect tried to kick him, police said. The victim's fiancé attempted to intervene and was elbowed in the back of the head.

The male victim suffered a bruised eye and a bloody nose in the attack, police said. Emergency responders treated the two at the scene.

No arrests had been made as of Tuesday morning.
