ST. GEORGE — A power outage inside the St. George Ferry Terminal will likely leave businesses without electricity through the weekend, officials said.

The outage should not impact ferry service.

A problem with the feeder in the terminal knocked out power at 7:23 a.m. Friday. Con Edison expects crews working to repair the damage won't be able to restore it until Monday, a spokesman for the agency said.

The city tweeted on Friday that the outages would have no impact of Staten Island Ferry service.

In addition to the terminal, three nearby buildings reported power problems at about 10:30 a.m., Con Ed said.
