FORDHAM — An MTA employee who heard about the teenager killed by a Metro-North train on Monday said that he hoped "the motherf****r suffered," according to passengers recounting the outburst on social media.

“Conductor on our @MetroNorth train intercom hearing the news ‘Someone got killed! I hope the motherf**ker suffered.’ #metronorth #speechless,” Miriam Ward wrote on Twitter.

Katrina Lipinsky posted a text from her father to Twitter that gave a similar recounting of the conductor's remarks.

"You know how sometimes conductors talk to each other but it's transmitted to the entire train?" he wrote, according to her Twitter feed. "I hear the mic key up followed by a train wide broadcast in the most Bronx accent "yeah I think some guy got killed, I hope he suffered like a motha f****r."

A sophomore at the all-male Catholic school Fordham Prep was killed on the tracks at the Botanical Garden stop on Monday afternoon at about 3:30 p.m. when a Metro-North train hit him, causing lengthy delays at the MTA.

The teenager was the second Fordham Prep student to be killed by a Metro-North train in less than a month.

Sophomore Owen Kelly was killed at the Philipse Manor station on Jan. 18, according to reports.

MTA spokesman Aaron Donovan said the agency would investigate the accusations.

"Such language and sentiment has no place on Metro-North Railroad," he said. "We are aware of this very serious allegation and we are looking into it."
