BOERUM HILL — A man threatened to kill himself and others when he forced another man to take out $100 from an ATM in Boerum Hill last week, according to police.

The 27-year-old victim was walking down the street at Atlantic and Third avenues at 5:45 p.m. when the suspect approached him, started making small talk and asked for money, the NYPD said.

When the victim said he had no money, the suspect said, “I have a .45 and I want to kill a bunch of people and myself,” according to police.

The victim tried to get away, but the suspect put his hand on the side of his waistline, suggesting he was going to grab a gun, police said.

He then allegedly ordered the victim to walk to the ATM at the Fertile Crescent Deli at 570 Atlantic Ave. and told him to take out $100.

The victim threw the money at the suspect and ran out of the store.

No arrests have been made.

The victim’s Bank of America debit card was used at a McDonald’s on Fulton Street and at an MTA vending machine. No arrests have been made.
