By Aidan Gardiner | January 27, 2016 9:48am

MANHATTAN — A man was slashed across the left side of his face in the 116th Street subway station in East Harlem Tuesday night, police said.

The 32-year-old man was with two other men on the northbound mezzanine of the 6 train station, near Lexington Avenue, when a suspect cut his face and fled the scene about 9:30 p.m., an NYPD spokesman said.

He received 70 stitches at Harlem Hospital, police said.

The victim and the two others who were with him wouldn't tell investigators what the attacker looked like along with other details about the incident, police said.

There were no immediate arrests, police said.
