As the city scrambles to prepare for snowstorm Jonas, expected to arrive very early Saturday morning, today will be a typical cloudy winter day: Accuweather predicts a high of 32 degrees, with a "real feel" temperature — which factors in wind chill — of 27 degrees.

As of 8 a.m. the MTA service advisories were limited to northbound A and D trains running local from Columbus Circle to 125th Street due a train with mechanical problems at 110th Street. Related: B and C trains were also running with delays.

All other lines are reporting good service, but for up-to-the-minute MTA service updates, check here

While today's weather is unremarkable, it's going to get down to a "real feel" temperature of 16 degrees by 8 p.m., so cancel your plans to go out dancing and hit up the liquor store on your way home. It's going to be a long weekend.

Of course, if you're bored, you can always reach out to the multitude of people on Craigslist looking for company during the storm.

Just kidding. Don't do that.

Today's Misery Index is a 3.
