WASHINGTON HEIGHTS — A Bronx woman who went missing just days into the New Year was found dead near the George Washington Bridge last week, police said.

The body of Jennifer Sack, 37, who was last seen leaving her Hudson Parkway apartment in Riverdale on Jan. 3, was found near the Hudson River shoreline by Fort Washington Park last week by a man walking under the bridge, the NYPD said.

Police believe she jumped from the bridge, and the city's medical examiner said her injuries were consistent with suicide.

Sack, who reportedly suffered from depression, was found in the same jacket, pants, boots and hat she was wearing when reported missing, police said.
