LOWER EAST SIDE — Brooklyn pizza joint Speedy Romeo expects to start serving its St. Louis-style pizzas on Clinton Street next month, one of its owners said.

Speedy Romeo plans to bring customer favorites from its Clinton Hill location as well as new items to 63 Clinton St. at the end of February, said chef and co-owner Justin Bazdarich.

The eatery is best known for its wood-fire oven baked Neapolitan-style pizzas, like the St. Louie, made with Italian sausage, pepperoni, pickled chilis and Provel, a processed cheese popular in the Midwestern city.

“It’s going to be very similar to the original. We’re going to keep a lot of the classic menu items that have become our greatest hits, if you will, so people can expect those,” he said.

Like the original location, the kitchen will be completely gas-free, with meals cooked only in a wood-fired oven or grill, Bazadarich said.

However, the new eatery will add a “dry aged meat program” as well as a variety of chops, seafood, “twists on delicacies like foie gras” and a new crudo section, Bazadarich said.

New menu items include tuna with puttanesca flavors — made with concentrated San Marzano tomatoes and marinated with a housemade salsa verde that includes anchovy, capers and fried garlic — as well as a foie gras terrine that will be grilled before it is wrapped and chilled, he said.

The Clinton Street spot also has a full liquor license, so the restaurant is building a new cocktail menu, which will incorporate an “element of smoke” to the American- and Italian-inspired drinks, he added.

The restaurant will also serve craft beer and wine and after dinner aperitifs.

The restaurant plans to be open for dinner only from Tuesday through Sunday during its first month. Afterwards, the restaurant will operate seven days a week and serve lunch on weekdays. Although some reservations will be accepted, most of its seating will be set aside for walk-in customers, according to a statement by the restaurant.
