THE BRONX — A man furious after being bumped inside a Bronx market hurled a shopping cart at a 61-year-old customer after throwing him to the floor, police said.

The men bumped into each other inside Frito Fish Market on East Tremont Avenue, near Marmion Avenue, at 7 p.m. on Dec. 24, the NYPD said. They exchanged words before the suspect picked up his victim's shopping cart and threw it at him, police said.

The attack was caught on the store's surveillance cameras.

The suspect, dressed in a gray Gap hoodie and a black Houston Astros baseball cap, hit the man twice in the face before tossing him to the floor and slamming a shopping cart on him, according to surveillance footage.

The victim refused medical attention.

The suspect is between 25 and 35 years old and stands about 5-foot-11-inches tall, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
