The 27-year-old woman was walking northbound on Ridge Street at about 9:20 p.m. on Dec. 17, police said, when a man who was about 40 years old came up behind her, according to the NYPD. Police said the man began to get closer, then “loomed over her in a threatening manner” before taking her purse.

The 6-foot-tall thief fled southbound on Ridge Street on foot with the bag, which contained a Marc Jacobs keychain wallet worth $120, a $60 red wallet and $20 in cash, as well as the woman’s credit and debit cards and house keys.
