QUEENS — A bank robber passed a note to a Rego Park bank teller demanding money and made off with $2,600 Monday, officials said.

The suspect walked into an Astoria Bank branch at 97-33 Queens Blvd. on Dec. 21 shortly after 4:30 p.m. and gave the note to the teller, who gave him the money, according to the NYPD.

The suspect then fled the location in an unknown direction, officials said.

Police described the man as standing approximately 5-foot-10 and weighing about 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black and white leopard print waist-length jacket and a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt.
