By Aidan Gardiner | December 21, 2015 2:07pm

BROOKLYN — An MTA bus driver was arrested a week after he fatally struck a 62-year-old woman in Sheepshead Bay, police said.

Wayne Alman, 52, was driving his B36 bus east on Avenue Z and turned left onto East 17th Street when he hit Eleonora Shulkina, NYPD officials said.

Shulkina, of Gravesend, was pronounced dead at Coney Island Hospital, police said.

Alman was arrested Monday for failing to yield to a pedestrian, police said.

A spokeswoman for the Brooklyn District Attorney's office did not immediately have information about Alman's arrest.
