MANHATTAN — Police are looking for a group of young men who committed at least four robberies in the Upper East Side and Central Park this week, according to the NYPD.

The group of four or five men first approached a 29-year-old man and 27-year-old woman while they were walking by 201 E. 89th St. early on Dec. 7. The men told the couple they had a gun before taking the man’s cellphone and woman’s purse, police said.

They then used one of her credit cards at a nearby White Castle, police said.

That night four of the men held up a 33-year-old man at gunpoint in Central Park near 95th Street and West Drive around 11:15 p.m. They took his backpack with his cellphone, money and credit cards inside, according to the NYPD.

Blake Carrington, 20, is one of the men being sought by police in connection with a series of robberies in Central Park and the Upper East Side, according to the NYPD.

About 20 minutes later the same group pulled two guns on a 45-year-old woman and 26-year-old woman along the running path in the park. They took both their purses and fled, police said.

Three days later on Dec. 10 the group attacked a 19-year-old man while he was walking in Central Park near 73rd Street and East Drive, pushing him and then grabbing his cellphone out of his hand.

None of the victims were injured.

Police identified one of the suspects at Blake Carrington, 20. They are still looking for at least four other men.
