CROWN HEIGHTS — A man was slashed on the face in Crown Heights Tuesday afternoon, according to the FDNY and witnesses.

The man was cut in front of 1045 Eastern Parkway near Schenectady Avenue at about 2:30 p.m., officials said.

The victim then walked into a nearby restaurant, bleeding from under his eye, a witness told DNAinfo.

“He came in here bleeding. He said, 'I need tissue. Call an ambulance,'” said a worker at the restaurant, who asked to remain anonymous.

Another nearby worker said the man appeared to be coherent.

"I seen blood on his face when they were putting him on the stretcher. He was calm and quiet."

He was transported to Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center.

The NYPD did have any immediate information.
