Call it socially minded sexiness.
The 2016 New York City Taxi Drivers Calendar is now out, and features a dozen of the city's steamiest (and good-humored) yellow cab drivers in provocative positions.
A portion of the proceeds from calendar sales will go to the University Settlement Society of New York, a city settlement which provides over 30,000 immigrants, families and workers with education, housing and literacy programs, according to the calendar website.
So far, sales of the $14.99 calendar have generated almost $50,000 for the tenement, calendar creators Philip and Shannon Kirkman said. Given the calendar models, it's easy to see why:
Lounging in the backseat of his car, this cabbie smokes a cigar while gazing into the distance, perhaps at the woman who left her pink bra in the car.
Meanwhile, Mr. January dons a plunging neckline and sultry glance, assuring guests that they are in for one wild ride if they hop into his "SXY DRVR"-plated car.
Adding heat to an otherwise chilly season, Mr. October flanks his bare chest with fall foliage.
