13 Subway Lines Scheduled for Service Disruptions This Weekend, MTA Says

MIDTOWN — Thirteen subway lines are slated for service disruptions this weekend as the MTA continues to work on rails, signals and stations.

SKIP TO YOUR TRAIN LINE HERE: 1 Train; 2 Train; 3 Train; 4 Train; 5 Train; 6 Train; 7 Train; A Train; E Train; F Train; L Train; N Train; R Train

1 Train: From 11:30 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, 1 trains will be suspended in both directions between 14th Street and South Ferry. Take the 2, 3 and shuttle buses instead. Free shuttle buses will run between Chambers Street and South Ferry.

From 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, and from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, 1 trains will run every 16 minutes between City College and Van Cortlandt Park. Some Bronx-bound trains will terminate at City College.

From 3:45 a.m. Saturday to 9 p.m. Sunday, some Bronx-bound trains will run express from 215th Street to Van Cortlandt Park.

2 Train: From 11:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, 2 trains will run local both ways between Chambers Street and Penn Station.

3 Train: Until late next month, 3 trains will skip Rockaway Avenue and Van Siclen Avenue in both directions.

For service to and from Rockaway Avenue, use shuttle buses to and from Saratoga Avenue.

For service to and from Van Siclen Avenue use shuttle buses to and from Pennsylvania Avenue.

From 6:30 a.m. to midnight, 3 trains will run local both ways between Chambers Street and Penn Station.

4 Train: Until late next month, 4 trains will skip Rockaway Avenue and Van Siclen Avenue in both directions.

From 11:45 p.m. Friday to 7:30 a.m. Sunday, and from 11:45 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday, 4 trains will run express between Union Square and Brooklyn Bridge.

From 4 a.m. Saturday to 10 p.m. Sunday, Bronx-bound 4 trains will run express from Brooklyn Bridge to Grand Central.

5 Train: From 6 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Saturday, and from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday, 5 trains will run every 20 minutes between Eastchester-Dyre Avenue and Bowling Green. Bronx-bound 5s will run local from Brooklyn Bridge to Grand Central.

6 Train: From 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, Brooklyn Bridge-bound 6 trains will run express from Union Square.

7 Train: From 6:45 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Citi Field-bound 7 trains will run express from 74th Street-Broadway to Citi Field.

A Train: Until winter 2016, Far Rockaway/Lefferts-bound A trains will skip 80th Street.

For service to this station, take an A to 88th Street and transfer back to a Brooklyn-bound A. For service from this station, take a Brooklyn-bound A to Grant Avenue and transfer to a Far Rockaway or Lefferts Boulevard-bound A.

Until winter 2016, Far Rockaway/Lefferts-bound A trains will skip 111th Street. For service to this stop, take a Lefferts Bound-A to Lefferts and transfer back to a Brooklyn-bound A. For service from this stop, use the Q112 bus or take a Brooklyn-bound A to 104th Street and transfer to a Lefferts-bound A.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday, A trains will be suspended in both directions between Euclid Avenue and Lefferts. Free shuttle buses will be available between and operate between Euclid Avenue and Lefferts.

As will operate between Inwood-207th Street and Euclid Avenue and Rockaway Boulevard and Far Rockaway every 20 minutes.

E Train: From 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, E trains will be rerouted via the F line in both directions between Roosevelt Avenue and West 4th Street. Free shuttle buses will run between Court Square and 21 Street-Queensbridge, stopping at Queens Plaza.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday, E trains will run local both ways in Queens.

F Train: Until winter of next year, Queens-bound F trains will skip Avenue X.

For service to Avenue X, take a Queens-bound F to Avenue U and transfer to a Coney Island-bound F. For service from this stop, take a Coney Island-bound F to Neptune Avenue and transfer to a Queens-bound F.

From 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, F trains will be suspended between Coney Island and Kings Highway.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday, F trains will run local both ways in Queens.

L Train: Until winter 2016, L trains will skip Atlantic Avenue both ways. Free shuttle buses will be available.

N Train: From 11:30 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, N trains will be suspended in both directions between 36th Street and Coney Island. N trains will be rerouted via the D both ways between 36th Street and Bay Parkway-95th Street. D and R trains and free shuttle buses provide alternate service. Free shuttle buses will operate between 36th Street and Stillwell Avenue, making all stops. Transfer between the R and shuttle buses at 59th Street.

R Train: From 11:45 p.m. Friday to 6:30 a.m. Sunday, and from 11:45 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday, 36th Street-bound R trains will stop at 53rd Street and 45th Street.
