By Aidan Gardiner | November 16, 2015 9:44am

MANHATTAN — Part of Lexington Avenue was closed off during the morning rush Monday because of a steam leak, officials said.

The leak was affecting the area around East 43rd Street, city officials said.

Department of Environmental Protection officials did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The incident was reported to Con Ed as a water main break, and the company is monitoring the situation, a spokesman said.
