MANHATTAN — Part of Lexington Avenue was closed off during the morning rush Monday because of a steam leak, officials said.
The leak was affecting the area around East 43rd Street, city officials said.
Due to a steam leak, there are lane closures on Lexington Avenue at East 43rd Street (MN). Use alternate routes and expect delays.

Department of Environmental Protection officials did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
The incident was reported to Con Ed as a water main break, and the company is monitoring the situation, a spokesman said.
