THE BRONX — A man sought in connection with a shooting that left one dead and two others hurt in Penn Station Monday was taken into police custody Thursday morning, sources said.

Vincent Arcona, who helped the suspected gunman Francisco Alsina, walked into Bronx-Lebanon Hospital, at 1650 Grand Concourse, about 4 a.m. Thursday and used a fake name to try and get a psychological evaluation, sources said.

He also tried to get medications using a benefits card bearing his real name, sources said.

Staff recognized him from police bulletins and alerted the authorities who took him into custody, sources said.

The shooter, who sources identified as Alsina, 23, remained at large Thursday morning.

Arcona had been with a man in a black hoodie who got into a dispute with three men — Angel Quiñones, 43, William Lamboy, 45, and Ed Torres, 48 — inside a McDonald's at 490 Eighth Ave. Monday morning, sources said.

Quiñones and the two others sold drugs in the area and the suspect may have been trying to take over their territory, sources said.

The three men left and went to a nearby A C E subway station, police said.

Arcona walked out of the restaurant and up to Alsina who went into the subway station and shot the trio, sources said.

Quiñones, a father to a 13-year-old boy, died at the scene, police said.

The two others were treated at Bellevue Hospital, police said.

Arcona and Alsina fled in a Mercedes with a third man, sources said.
