TRIBECA — A cab driver stole a passenger's bag — which contained $1,200 in cash, a $750 pair of sunglasses and 20 credit cards — police said.

The 41-year-old Manhattan man was dropped off in front of 167 Duane St. at about 7 p.m. on Oct. 20 and soon realized his bag — which also had his Swiss and Italian passports along with his Green Card inside — was still in the cab.

The man told police that he contacted the driver, a man named Victor, but he refused to come back.

It was unclear what kind of cab the man was riding in.

Police were still investigating the crime.
