VIDEO: Knife-Wielding Suspect Steals Hundreds of Dollars From Rite Aid

WAKEFIELD — A knife-wielding suspect stole more than $400 in cash from a Rite Aid in The Bronx, police said.

The suspect came into the Rite Aid at 4232 Baychester Ave. on Nov. 1 around 11:30 p.m., took out a knife and demanded that the 22-year-old woman behind the counter open the register, according to the NYPD.

Video shows him taking out his knife and waving it over the counter before rifling through the cash register to grab several stacks of bills.

The suspect took a total of $439 from the store before running away. No one was injured in the robbery, police said.

Officers described the suspect as about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 155 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black jacket and beige pants.
