CROWN HEIGHTS — Your chance to live in a Crown Heights “castle” is here, but it’s going to set you back more than a million bucks.

Renovations are complete at 1372 Dean St., a turreted, 19th-century brick home between Brooklyn and Kingston avenues, where two of the building's four units are on the market for $1.195 and $1.3 million each, according to online listings for “The Castle.”

The building, constructed in 1888 and the subject of a meticulous architectural and historical 2013 profile in the New York Times, was gut-renovated and rebuilt by Perfect Renovation, a specialty contractor founded by the home’s owner, Amber Mazor, who bought the building for $1.32 million in 2013, deeds shows.

The two units for sale both feature rooms built into the home’s substantial, three-story brick turret. Unit A ($1.195 million) has a curved, spiral staircase inside the turret that leads from the kitchen to a combined play room and home office. That unit also has a private, 561-square-foot yard.

In Unit C ($1.3 million), the master bedroom suite is built inside the turret, one of two bedrooms in the apartment that also has a private roof deck.

The site advertising “The Castle” shows many details of the building’s renovation, begun in August of 2014, which included uncovering the 12-foot “cone” at the top of the turret, cleanup of the home’s original chimneys, and rebuilding of its slate roof and bay windows.

Brooklyn-based real estate firm Ideal Properties Group will handle sales at 1372 Dean St., which officially hit the market Tuesday.
