TIMES SQUARE — A 17-year-old boy was attacked by the father and uncle of a girl he had argued with at school earlier in the day, police said.

The two man approached the boy at 3:20 p.m. on Oct. 29 near the McDonalds on West 51st and Broadway and showed him a picture of the girl, his schoolmate whom he had quarreled with earlier that day, according to the NYPD.

The boy said he knew the girl and the men identified themselves as the girl's uncle and father and started hitting him, police said.

A good Samaritan stepped in to defend the boy and got kicked by the uncle, authorities said.

The girl's father then pulled a knife from his waistband and chased the two victims, who managed to escape.

It wasn't clear which school the boy attended and no arrests have been made in the incident as of Monday.
