CLINTON HILL — Police are searching for a hit-and-run driver who knocked down a traffic agent in Clinton Hill.
The 30-year-old agent was walking back to his police car on Washington Avenue near Myrtle Avenue roughly 10:45 p.m. on Oct. 23 when another car sped down the street, striking him, officials said.
Video released by the NYPD shows the car barreling down the road after the victim falls to the ground.
The on-duty traffic agent was taken to New York Methodist Hospital in stable condition, according to officials.
Police describe the vehicle as a red or burgundy Volkswagen Passat with damage to the passenger side mirror.
