SOHO — A thief swiped a woman's $400 Prada wallet in SoHo last week, but left her with a message.
After grabbing the 27-year-old's wallet from her handbag, the pickpocket yelled, "America got stupid" as he ran off, police said.
The woman, who lives in Queens, was walking past 565 Broadway at about 6 p.m. on Thursday when the man swiped her wallet, which contained about $40, several credit cards and her Parsons School of Design student I.D., police said.
The thief was described as about 5-foot-10, around 180 pounds and in his early 30s.
