The 007 of our time is taking on an even grander British literary export.

Daniel Craig, whose fourth James Bond film "Spectre" hits theaters on Nov. 6, will star in an off-Broadway production of Shakespeare's "Othello" opposite "Selma" actor David Oyelowo, when the production debuts in Fall 2016, the New York Times reported

Oyelowo will play the title character while Craig will portray the villainous Iago in the New York Theatre Workshop production.

The limited-run show will be directed by Sam Gold, who scored a Tony this year for his direction of the new musical "Fun Home," which won five Tonys, including a best director nod for Gold and "Best Musical."

"Othello” will be Gold's first professional direction of a Shakespearean play, the New York Times reports.

The production will be Craig's third foray into New York City theater. He starred in "A Steady Rain" in 2009 and "Betrayal" opposite wife Rachel Wiesz in 2013.

The dates and duration of this run of "Othello" has not been announced.
