EAST HARLEM — A Target employee stole more than $2,000 from the East River Plaza store by filching it from the register over time.

Kimberly Brown, 25, started taking the money on Sept. 24, prosecutors said.

The cash she took on 10 separate occasions adds up to $2,380, according to the NYPD, who arrested her Oct. 12.

The national retail chain did not immediately respond to questions about the theft.

Brown has been charged with grand larceny and is due in court Jan. 4.

Her lawyer was not immediately available for comment.

Brown's arrest came a week after two men stole $1,800 of electronics from the same store at the East River Plaza.

On Oct. 8, two men brought an empty box into Target, filled it with ink cartridges and a wireless router and walked out.
