CORONA — It's worth the weight.

Budget workout chain Blink Fitness has signed a lease on a new Roosevelt Avenue space — but gym rats will have to wait two years to run, lift and crunch.

Blink plans to open the 15,000-square-foot gym at 108-14 Roosevelt Ave. in the fall of 2017.

The next nearest Blink gym site opened last fall on 77th Street and Roosevelt Avenue. There are two other locations in Jamaica and Astoria.

“Blink Fitness is excited to bring a brand new and affordable gym option to the historic Corona community and offer our exceptional value and extraordinarily friendly member experience to local residents,” said Bill Miller, vice president of real estate for Blink Fitness.

The bright gyms feature modern equipment, full-service locker rooms and personal trainers, but memberships, starting at $15 per month, are reasonably priced compared with other chains.

The Corona addition is part of a general expansion for the company, which is affiliated with the elite Equinox Gym, they said.

They hope to open more than 300 gyms by the end of 2020 across the world.
