WILLIAMSBURG — A man was robbed of $20 and his walking cane on the way home from the store over the weekend, police said.

The victim, 52, was approached from behind and pushed to the ground on Saturday, Oct. 10, around 5 p.m. on Ten Eyck Walk near Humboldt Street in the Williamsburg Houses, police said.

The suspect then grabbed the victim's cane and threw it aside, police said.

He then reached into the victim's left pocket and took $20, police said.

The cane, worth $13, was never found, police said.

The suspect was described by police as approximately 45 years old, standing 5-foot-8 and weighing 185 pounds.

No one has been arrested for the incident.
