UPPER WEST SIDE — A man had his $5,000 motorcycle stolen after parking it overnight near West End Avenue, police said.

The 30-year-old victim parked the 2007 Suzuki in front of 325 W. 71st St., near West End Avenue, on Sept. 30 at 8 p.m, police said.

When he returned on Oct. 1 at 5 p.m., the bike was gone, police said.

Motorcycle thefts have been a recurring issue in the neighborhood, with many bikes loaded onto trucks and vans before being hauled away, police have said.
