BEDFORD-STUYVESANT — A trio of armed robbers locked a Brooklyn pharmacy worker in a store room before snatching prescription pain pills from a safe, police said.
The thieves entered the Kingsboro Pharmacy at 868 DeKalb Ave. roughly 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 5, demanding Percocet, according to officials.
Armed with a gun, the suspects locked a 52-year-old worker in a room and made another 33-year-old clerk kneel on the floor, police said.
The men then entered the store’s safe and grabbed oxycodone, hydrocodone, and Endocet, along with the clerks’ purses, which had their cell phones, bank cards, and money, according to police.
The pills and victims’ property were worth $1,200 total, an NYPD spokesman said.
No injuries were reported.
