QUEENS — Police have arrested and charged a second suspect in the death of a 70-year-old woman who was fatally shot in the head when she answered her door in March, authorities said Thursday.

Sahel Green, 19, of South Ozone Park, was charged with second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon, police said.

Leta Webb was gunned down on her doorstep at her 119th Avenue home, near 153rd Street, in South Jamaica, about 1:30 a.m. on March 31.

Webb, a homemaker who lived in her neighborhood for more than two decades, was shot in the head and arm and died hours later at Jamaica Hospital.

Authorities said the shooting maybe have been a retaliation against another family member.

Webb's 27-year-old son, Arnold Webb, is currently serving 25 years in prison after pleading guilty to a first-degree manslaughter charge in 2011.

In April, authorities arrested Julian Douglas, 22, a South Ozone resident, in connection with the shooting. He has been charged with second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon.

On Thursday, a spokesman for the NYPD said that it was not clear whether Green or Douglas pulled the trigger.

Police said Green was already being held in Schenectady County Jail on an unrelated matter when they found out about his alleged involvement in the Webb murder.

Green had three prior arrests, two of them sealed, police said. In 2013, he was arrested for jumping the turnstile.

It was not immediately clear if Green had an attorney.
