Bystander Shot in Back During Argument Behind Bronx Building: NYPD

THE BRONX — Three people were shot, including an innocent bystander, during an argument in the back of a Bronx building in early September, according to the NYPD.

Two men were involved in a verbal dispute with another man behind 1408 Webster Ave. at about 1 a.m. on Sept. 2 when the man pulled out weapon and fired several times at the other two, police said.

The first man was hit on the left arm and hip. The second man suffered a graze wound to his knee.

A third person, who was not involved in the argument, was struck in the back.

The first person was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital and the bystander was taken to Lincoln Hospital.

The man who suffered the graze wound declined medical treatment at the scene.

The suspect is about five-feet-eleven-inches tall and 165 pounds.
