BRONX — A school bus with 18 students on board was involved in an accident in Westchester Square Thursday afternoon, officials said.
The accident happened around 3:30 p.m. near Eastchester Road and Waters Place, the FDNY said.
Fire officials reported 20 minor injuries but no one was taken to the hospital.
A spokesman for the Department of Education told DNAinfo that 18 students were traveling on the bus at the time of the crash.
The cause of the accident remains unclear. The incident is under investigation.
