WOODSIDE — Police are searching for a pair of suspects who robbed a man on a Queens street earlier this month, making off with his wallet and credit cards, which they later tried to use.

The 31-year-old victim was walking on 61st Street, near 39th Avenue, in Woodside on Sept. 11 about 3:30 a.m. when the thieves approached him from behind, according to police. One grabbed the victim's arms while the other rifled through his pockets and stole his wallet, credit cards and cash, police said.

The suspects were later captured on surveillance video trying to use the man's credit cards in a store, according to the NYPD.

No injuries were reported, and police continue to investigate, police said.

Anyone with information asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
