MORRISANIA — A burglar with a shirt wrapped around his head crawled into a South Bronx building through a broken window to steal cash, detailed video of the incident shows.
The suspect and his two partners in crime casually walked up to the building at 975 Brook Ave. around 8:40 p.m. on Wednesday, according to the video.
The suspects then broke a window, with one them creeping inside with his shirt wrapped around his head in an apparent attempt to obscure his face, the video shows. He can be seen searching around the room with a flashlight while his cohorts peer in from outside.
The three men stole an unknown amount of money from the building and fled, according to the NYPD.
