HARLEM — A Citi Bike docked at a Lower East Side station made its way uptown last week, where police retrieved it after arresting a man riding against traffic, according to the NYPD.

The bike had been missing from the docking station at Hester and Allen streets since Sept. 16, but was found on Sept. 19 at 10:18 p.m. when police arrested Daquan Canteen, 25, on the corner of Saint Nicholas Avenue and West 125th Street, according to the NYPD and a criminal complaint from the Manhattan District Attorney’s office.

An officer asked Canteen if he had rented the bicycle, according to the complaint, but he said, "No, I just picked it up. It was just lying there at West 111th [Street] and Broadway."

A Citi Bike representative told police Canteen was not authorized to have the bike, according to the NYPD.

Canteen was charged with criminal possession of stolen property and released of his own recognizance. He is due in court on Nov. 2.

Canteen’s lawyer did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Other recent crimes in the 7th Precinct include:

► A 34-year-old woman said her wallet, which contained her Spanish ID card, debit card, house keys and MetroCard, was stolen from her purse on Sept. 20 around 3:15 a.m., according to the NYPD.

Police said she felt a slight push from behind while she was on the dance floor at Pianos, located at 158 Ludlow St. When she checked her bag moments later, the wallet was gone, police said.

Pianos' general manager, Carlo Schiano, said the establishment was working closely with police but declined to comment further because of an ongoing investigation.

► A burglar broke into a locked storage room belonging to Meals on Wheels located the basement of 367 Madison St. in the Vladeck Houses at around 3 a.m. on Sept. 20, police said. The thief stole a Dyson fan, a heavy-duty hand truck and a shopping cart worth $340 altogether, according to the NYPD.

► A man snatched a 17-year-old victim's gold $700 iPhone 6 Plus while he was texting on the northeast corner of Rutgers and Henry streets on Sept. 18 at 11:45 p.m., authorities said. Police said the 5-foot-9-inch, 160-pound thief fled on a bicycle and had a ponytail.
