GRAMERCY — A Dunkin' Donuts on the corner of Third Avenue and 20th Street is looking to open a new sidewalk cafe with 20 tables, according to an application filed with Community Board 6.

The franchise wants to add 20 tables and 21 seats outside of its 243 Third Ave. shop — which already has an addition to the building that protrudes several feet onto the sidewalk.

Representatives of the franchise will plead their case before the Community Board 6 Land Use and Waterfront Committee on Oct. 7.

Dunkin' Donuts declined to comment.
