ASTORIA — Police are looking for a man who groped a woman on a Queens-bound N train last week.

The suspect stood behind the 35-year-old victim on the train around 6 p.m. Friday and rubbed his hand across her buttocks, according to the NYPD.

When the woman confronted the suspect, he grabbed her butt again, then fled the train when it pulled into the Broadway station at 31st Street, police said.

Police released photos of the suspect, who was wearing a black knit hat, glasses, a green shirt, jeans and a backpack. He's believed to be between 30 and 35 years old, standing between 6 foot to 6-foot-2 inches, police said.

Anyone with information asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
