UPPER WEST SIDE — A man returned to his truck after parking it on West 70th Street overnight to discover thousands of dollars worth of construction tools stolen, police said.

The 40-year-old victim parked his 2007 Dodge Ram between Central Park West and Columbus Avenue on Sept. 9 at noon, and returned at 7 a.m. the next day to find his tools, worth $5,700, stolen, according to the NYPD.

The vehicle's rear passenger window was broken and a saw and a drill, among other tools and a tool bag, were gone, police said.
